Fire Them All!!!

Over the last couple of weeks I have been bored to tears with listening to all the rumors about the ‘Crisis in our Financial World or our Economy’.

Ladies and Gentlemen, the crisis does not exist in our Financial World or in our Economy, it exists in Congress. The same people that we elected to represent us in good faith and loyalty are now asking us to spend billions of taxpayers’ dollars to bail them out of another one of their ‘mistakes’.

It is time that we do something about this ‘Government’ that has become destructive to our unalienable Rights of Life, Liberty, and pursuit of Happiness. As it says in the Declaration of Independence, “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness>. That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.”

I say we need to ‘alter’ Congress, so-to-speak and we need to do it by ‘Firing all of them and re-electing new.’ We can do this by forcing them to establish term limits. That once someone has served in Congress, whether it be in the Senate or the House of Representative, that they can no longer serve in either one once their term limit has been reached.

Once we stop allowing these ungrateful individuals to make a career out of now being there for votes, not representing us for the betterment of the United States, and not conducting themselves in good faith and loyalty as we have elected them and expected of them, they will take more care in deciding the future of this great Nation.

George Bush has been in office for 7 1/2 years. The first six the economy was fine.

A little over one year ago:

1) Consumer confidence stood at a 2 1/2 year high

2) Regular gasoline sold for $2.19 a gallon

3) The unemployment rate was 4.5%

4) The DOW JONES hit a record high — 14,000+

5) Americans were buying new cars, taking cruises, vacations overseas, living large!

But Americans wanted “CHANGE”! So, in 2006 they voted in a Democratic Congress and yes–we got ‘CHANGE” all right.

In the PAST YEAR:

1) Consumer confidence has plummeted

2) Gasoline is now over $4 a gallon and climbing!

3) Unemployment is up to 5.5% (a 10% increase)

4) Americans have seen their home equity drop by $12 TRILLION DOLLARS and prices are still dropping

5) 1% of American homes are in foreclosure

6) as I write, THE DOW is probing another low ~~ $2.5 TRILLION DOLLARS HAS EVAPORATED FROM THEIR STOCKS, BONDS & MUTUAL FUNDS INVESTMENT PORTFOLIOS!

YES, IN 2006 AMERICA VOTED FOR CHANGE…AND WE SURE GOT IT!

REMEMBER THE PRESIDENT HAS NO CONTROL OVER ANY OF THESE ISSUES, ONLY CONGRESS DOES.

AND WHAT HAS CONGRESS DONE IN THE LAST TWO YEARS?

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.

NOW THE DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATE FOR PRESIDENT CLAIMS HE IS GOING TO REALLY GIVE US CHANGE, AND HE HAS THE BACKING OF A DEMOCRATIC CONGRESS!!!!

JUST HOW MUCH MORE “CHANGE” DO YOU THINK YOU CAN STAND?

And now they are sitting on their soft spineless rearends not doing anything to correct their most recent mess which will cost the innocent taxpayers untold BILLIONS!!!

They wanted financially disabled people to have a home. So, now, with their planning these people have no home and no money.

They would have been better off with an apartment they could afford rather than have no house at all.

The crisis in the United States is not at the President level, it is not in the Oil fields, nor in the banks it is in Congress. We have for too long allowed these guys to feed off the taxpayers. They can’t keep a real job like the average middle income American so they just keep running for office. It is time everyone of us, Republican, Democrat, Independent, Right Wing, Left Wing, Middle of Road, step up and say “We’re not going to take it anymore.” Get rid of the dinosaurs and lets elect some new blood into Congress. Face it, it doesn’t matter if the next President is a Democrat or a Republican, as long as we allow the children to continue playing within the walls of Congress, we will never get mature, responsible, informed results from our Congressional representation.
